With herbie gone, and I still have my concerns people will get into cobbos ear, I would be securing mariner and arthars.

The only thing to get into cobbos ear is ear wax or the wind.

damn this one hurts. Said before but if having to choose i would pick herbie over cobbo.

I know cobbo has a higher ceiling but i just dont know if he strikes me as a guy who will work hard and do whatever it takes to win a football game. Soon as things dont go cobbo way he seems to pack it in.

We been down this path before with players like him hugely gifted athletes but just dont have the mental toughness to truly be great. We need hard workers to turn this club around not physically gifted kids who dont want to put in the hard yards.

Just sucks that we are loosing these players we blood into nrl right as they come at there peak for another club to claim the benefits. I know this is on the club to make it a place players want to be at but i was hoping with the arrival of ikin and DD these sort of things would stop happening.

massive blow for us think this will hurt more then some realise. now we will have to blood marinar and have another rookie for a few years making rookie mistakes until he comes at his peak and potentially leave as well.

How many years do you want Cobbo to serve his centre apprenticeship ?
2 seasons ago he played centre and looked ready . Give him another season on the wing . That`ll get him ready for centre ?

The someone got injured in the warm up and they swapped Herbert for Tesi in the #1 jersey .

Its called a salary cap. You cant offer every player the contract they want. Doesn't mean you want them to leave though.

He took a low offer last time he signed a contract hoping for it to be increased .
When it wasn`t he left .

Centre who won`t pass is not a high priority I think .

He's a good player who will be let down by the poor spine at the Dolphins. He may be open to coming back, you never know.

It comes across as shit stirring because that is what it is. You come onto an opposition's forum for the first time directly after the lost a player that a majority of fans like and by your own admission only believe 80% of the bile you are spewing here.

Nah we celebrated playing finals, winning an elimination final, a quarter final and being in a Prelim 5 years in a year. No silverware attached but it's alot more than your mob has done since the Cowboys won the comp. If you sincerely don't think a teams supporter base should be happy with being contenders for the big prize year after year, even without a premiership than you must be a sad sad man. Especially given we made a grand final with 2million dollars in spine players on the sideline from round 25.

Again though, I am stoked the Broncos aren't my team.

It's hardly bile is it. The facts are, Walters can't coach, Reynolds is busted, and without the Roosters sombrero you were never going to keep Herbie after resigning Cobbo. That's all pretty level headed stuff.

Ill break it down:
Walters couldn't get a team sitting in the top 4 to a finals series with what, 8 games left? You've got players saying Reynolds runs the show and Kevvie can't coach.

I can tell you first hand Reynolds rarely trained with the main squad and was on reduced duties to keep him from breaking down at the end of year. It's why most Souths fans didn't want a 2 year extension with three halves coming through the ranks.

And the Herbie signing, well that's obvious.
