Highlights of Season 2011

PNG shouldn't be considered a Test nation, that way Costigan could still play for them.

With Meads, Costigan, Segeyaro and Aiton in the side they'd start to look like a decent Footy side.

I agree 100%

The same goes for every nation that isn't Australia, New Zealand and England. Players should be encouraged to play for the developing nations as well.

Loved watching the Dragons choke yesterday afternoon.

im also loving watching the dragons suffer the almost annual Wayne Bennett slump.

but really the highlight of the season, not for me personally but overall, has got to be the rise of this melbourne team after everything that happened last year. lost their premierships, played for nothing last season, and lost half of their team, yet there they are with the minor premiership pretty much in the bag. thats just amazing.

my personal highlight hasnt just been one thing, its been the Broncos as a whole. the youngest team in the NRL by a country mile, our attack hasnt really hit the highs that it can, but we've been playing with so much heart, passion and determination that i havent seen in a broncos team for a long time - and its shown in our results.

The Dragons certainly face an uphill battle. I'm not sure if many have pondered how difficult it is to achieve two in a row. The last team to do it was us in 97/98, and 92/93 before that. You have to factor in that we had some serious recruitment and fiscal advantages back then too. It would be even harder to achieve now with a salary cap. Not even the cheating teams of the past decade have been able to accomplish back to back.

I also love the dragons fans coming back with how wonderful Wayne Bennett is and how there's no such thing as a slump, blah, blah, blah. Lol. Sounds so familiar.

It was the best no try ever because:

1. It was Jarryd Hayne
2. It was pretty much a brain fart
3. It was Jarryd Hayne
Another oxymoron: Jarryd Hayne, brain fart...

Do we need to give Porty a lesson on what an oxymoron is?

Here is an example or 2: Smart Footballer. NSW Winner. Humble Jarryd.
