Historys worst refereeing performances

Pretty much origin refereeing for the past couple years. They just decide to throw the rulebook out the window, that many grapples going on especially by NSW but dickheads Archer and Hayne just watch it, dickheads.

The refs were shocking last night. NSW got away with so much bullshit it wasn't funny. Fucking ridiculous.

Another substandard performance last night with too many inconsistant calls.

The way the refs redeem themselves throughout the game is just ludicrous !!!!

Why the hell the dickhead video ref doesn't whisper in their ears more often is beyond me. Hell, we can see an infringement has happened right away ... why can't they ?!?

I really dislike the precedent they set by penalising Queensland when the NSW players had hold of their arms. Should either be no penalty (thus the man with the ball who is deliberately tangling himself with the defender is getting disadvantaged by a slow play the ball) or a penalty to the defence.

the 2 most blatant 'misses' were the blatant high shot from ennis on Cronk in the last set of six, and the HUGE shephard where Learoyd Lars i think it was took out not one but 2 Queensland defenders, literally knocking them over, while the ball carrier ran behind him. absolutely ridiculous.

apart from our penalty for the ennis cheap shots at the end, id like to know when our last penalty was. id say it was around the 20 minute mark. and since then, NSW just got pressure relieving penalty after pressure relieving penalty. oh no, NSW is only on their 20 after 4 tackles! better help them along with a stupid penalty.

just typical that the referees perform like this after NSW have the nerve to whinge and say that QLD has had the referees on our team for the last few years. have they even watched any of the games? about 3/4 of NSWs tries over the last 3 years have been off blatant refereeing blunders in their favour! not to mention that we've had tries disallowed for no reason other than they dont want us to win (slater last game, TC in 06 i think it was, steve price in 08 or so).

NSW just were allowed to do everything they wanted. 2nd tackles, holding down in tackles for 15 seconds, elbows and knees on heads in every single tackle, swinging arms, cheap shots, etc.

it was absolutely ridiculous to say the least.

Their argument was that there was no advantage gained, as the played who ran behind fell over and was tackled immediately anyway. There were a few times Locky ended up running behind Thaiday who got in the way and he just went straight to ground to avoid a penalty. The Blues one was just more blatant, and I agree, should've been penalised.

However, I understand why they didn't.

Agreed. And Paul Gallen had the nerve to threaten to bash Shillington if the referee didn't "get them under control". LOLZ!

id like to see either of them try and bash Shillington lol. that man is a giant (with the voice of a midget lol). i reckon Shillington and Thaiday wouldve gladly taken on the entire blues team if they were given the chance. Shillington was like a man possessed in the way he tried to hurt the blues, and Thaiday was always first in with him to stand up for his mates.

dave taylor on the other hand, he lets anyone and everyone push him around like hes a little girl.

I lost count of how many times the ***** tried that last night. **** I hate NSW.

Dave is still finding his feet at rep level. In the last game if it wasn't for Rangahan holding his cocked fist O'Donnell would still be in a coma. He got bugger all time last night, same with Costigan. Cronk was used wrong I reckon got way too much time in the back row, but that is another story.

Dave pulled off a couple bell ringers and put Watmouse on his arse in a massive way a couple times last night.

What was the go with Cronk? He replaced Harrison right? Or was it Myles? Either way they came off too early and as you say, Cronk was on way too long in the back row. He got found out for the Gallen try IMO.

I think he came on for Myles. Myles seemed to play a middle 4 back row whilst Harrison and Thaiday manned the left and right fringe respectively.

FWIW, I would have liked to seen Myles come off, Harrison to core and DT to left fringe. Early on they were in all sorts against our left side, but Harrison just didnt have the punch to create something.

Agreed jester, we made a few inroads on the left very early but at least twice harrison failed to drawn and pass to inglis

Anyone know if there's a replay on fox tonight? Having shocking eyesight and sitting behind the posts, I didn't realise it was so bad.

I actually did'nt notice the refereeing all that much and thought it was a fair bit both ways, lots of tactics from both sides. That said I wonder if it was because I'd backed NSW to win with Qld first half and NSW the second. I also backed them to win by 6 8 10, Locky heard about my wager and punted a field goal to blow 3 of my bets out of the water. Then my favourite champions won the game,a game I could have handled losing just for the lucrative payday. we still would've won five in a row and dead rubbers don't mean much to me.

Probably my perspective was a little screwy because I was (for the first time in my life) actually hoping for a blues win, maybe that's why I did'nt notice NSW being their usual can't heads and playing dirty. Plus the drink.... [icon_drun

Spot on mate! I was thinking absolutely the same last night... With a DT', Te'o, Gillett or a Bolton on that left side last night, we would have carved them up.
If Myles is going to play lock (which he should), then Harrison shouldn't be there, if it wasn't for the rightful loyalty and "incumbancy". [icon_shru

Harrison just needed to trust himself and GI and pass the bloody ball
