Hodges' hit on Morris under NRL scrutiny

The type of tackle he made?? Give us a spell ffs. He didn't drop him on his head or attack his injury.

AP you're such a soft ####. The hit wouldn't have even hurt Morris. It might hurt you because you're a massive soft ####, but any grown man wouldn't be hurt by that hit.

If Hodges just ambles up to Morris and Morris thought to pass the ball to Creagh, there is no doubt in the world you'd be questioning Hodges for that as well. Fact is Hodges played the whistle and made a tackle on an opposition player that was fair game.

here we go with the insults, nice one jeb.

Around and around we go.......... Where we stop only AP knows

Actually, only Jeba and I know. Because it'll invariably be us that just gives up. AP will continue to argue his point while ever someone argues with him.

Jeb already gave up when he decided to just insult AP.. It's all on you now Coxy.

Well I could say I won't back down until he retracts any reference to Hodges' act being "disgraceful", but I won't hold my breath.

he did try to get up, but with a fractured leg its gonna be a bit hard. he tried, didnt make it, and just stayed on the ground. he was injured for all to see, and just because he tried to get up doesnt mean its fair game. when dallas johnson/nate myles are stumbling around the field after being knocked out, falling to their knees every 2 seconds, you wouldnt pass them the ball and tell them to do a hit-up would you? you can see theyre injured. same thing here - we could see he was injured, an no amount of him trying to get up changes the fact that he clearly wasnt going anywhere.
He suffered a high ankle sprain... He did NOT break his lef FFS!

How do people believe he would be able to walk around with a broken leg, much less run and jump? :rash:

* Didn't notice Coxy already made that point until after I posted...

I don't call it disgraceful, just unnecessary and a bit of a dog act, but I probably would be calling the hit soft if it was Matai or Watamong on the ground...

"dog act"? Really? Seriously :shake:

Yes. You should! :coxy:
Well okay then, but only because it made me laugh so hard to see Creagh's fairy skirt at work again!

Personally he should had hit him harder. It's a contact game, no different to a fullback looking up at a bomb and getting smashed just as he's caught it... Think Billy Slater in that GF against Manly. He got smoked. Thinking was him. It wasn't disgraceful, it was a show weakness from Hodges and a show if mercy that I hope Hook addressed.
