Hunt & Blair took the early guilty pleas. Blair has 99pts carry over (jeez I wanted one more point) and Hunt got suspended for 1 game but since the nines count as one game, he will serve his suspension in the 9s and be right to go for round 1.

Can he play the nines then?

No.

But the Nines can be counted as an NRL game so Broncos will just simply select him, then replace him and he'll be all good. That will be his time served.

Another thing that makes all of this so hard to take. My opinion is that Hunt went in with the view of putting the Cowboy flat on his arse. A big, dominant tackle that the team could get behind, rally, and keep the Cowboys down their end until the final siren. And it just ****ing went wrong.

My take on that is that Hunt got the tackle technique utterly wrong. Looked like he was standing still instead of driving forward into the rib cage which made the lift inevitable.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions (and poor technique) but then the enormous pressure of GF can do that to the best of players, and Ben is amongst the best. I am sure that was the first and last time Ben will do that.
