Homer.
Without reading all the dribble, are people trying to say Hunt is better than Milford. Just a simple Yes/No.
As far as I have seen, only the OP has said that, and I disagreed with it.Absolutely Hunt was on the up, and absolutely he was performing well against the Roosters. His big tackle to force a dropout was a big moment not just in the game but in Hunt's mindset. I'm hoping and expecting something similar against the Rabbitohs.
The reason the thread is a joke isn't because of the differences in opinion. It's because the "Hunt Sucks" brigade had degenerated to the point where some people literally bought in to the idea that "Hunt has put the cue in the rack". That he's not trying. That's this thread's title. That's the joke.

Funny how that gets transformed in the "Hunt Sucks" brigade... from a member of the "AEFH" brigade.
The situation is very clear to me.
Bennett should give Hunt the next three games and make his assessment then and there. Depending on how Hunt plays, Bennett can either keep him on for the rest of the season or start fresh with a new halves combination in lieu of the Knights game coming off the bye/origin.
That's the ideal situation, who knows whether it will pan out that way with injuries and all the weird turns a Rugby League season can take.
There hasn't been a player under more pressure to perform than Ben Hunt. At least from the media and the Rugby League community at large.
I just hope this isn't a false prophet. Yes we did win 5 games straight with Hunt out but we didn't beat anyone of real significance that could be considered premiership contenders in that time.
