Y'know I've been researching the Super League War the last few months.
The late Rebecca Wilson told a funny story. She was a media officer for Super League back in those days.
Inspired by Lachlan Murdoch, most of the Super League hierarchy took to wearing Zegna suits. Armani or Versace ties. RM Williams boots.
Very stylish.
One afternoon, after yet another setback in court she found herself in an elevator with John Ribot, Lachlan Murdoch and David Gallop (a Super League lawyer at the time).
To try and lighten the mood, she said "Well, look on the bright side, at least we've got the best suits."
