Neither 3 until now should have made it. But considering what’s on offer they well and truely do. I don’t think Graham overtly does but Tuilagi had an amazing season and Lindsay has been playing origin for a few years whilst also having a good season when on the field. Campbell as long as he isn’t in the side I can live with. Obviously there is some amazing spine players thag missed out but you actually have to field a team and have proper depth across the board. Far to many spine players already in the side so I don’t reallly know who else is getting in the team over those 3.
I was surprised after the PM13 game Cobbo wasn't picked tbh, Graham is a good centre but I don't see him making it over the options there and as a winger he barely has played there.

Tuilagi had a good season but if they wanted an exclusive left winger Oates would of been better for that, but it isn't that bad of a pick overall he is much younger and will likely be a mainstay for the future.

The centres will be Mitchell and Burton, so Graham is there as cover. Tuilagi could definitely find himself on a wing though.

They will all get games because there will be rotation especially against the weaker sides, but I think the main wingers will most likely be JAC and Holmes.

I’m not so certain that will be the centres. I hope to fucken god that’s the centres cause they are both excellent centres. Wighton obviously is in contention and then the rumours have been that Graham will be the centre in the World Cup, which I think is fucken ludicrous. As for Tuilagi I’m assuming Holmes and Addo are first choice wingers so I am sure he will get a game probably group stage but can’t see him snagging a wing spot for round 1.

I love Oatesy but it was obvious he was just never in the picture and personally I believe we get more value of a back up being someone who can prove to be more valuable in the future whereas Oates probably never gets another look in.

Obviously Cobbo is better than Graham but you could not under any circumstances pick him. Look I love him but he seems awfully reliant on his family in Cherbourg and seems to be a little bit unprofessional still, add that onto the fact he didn’t finish the season very well, he’s still very raw, and just seems far to fatigued both mentally and physically. As a Broncos fan we should be thanking the heavens he isn’t going off to the Uk for 7-8 weeks. He is already buggered and he would have to keep on going through to like December. Then have a shortened pre-season. Not ideal for him, the club or even the Kangaroo’s who just won’t be getting the best out of him in that environment.

Both are more left sided centres, along with Withton, and all 3 are left hand carries, making it tougher to switch to the other side.

I think Latrell gets the left spot, but not sure about the right.... is Gagai in the squad??

He might get it... or Val... he's more a makeshift centre on the left and right side would probably suit him better.

Yeah but have you seen Burton kick? The commentators tell me every kick is a grenade.

Game 1(England vs Samoa)will be on at 11:30pm QLD time and 12:30am the rest on the Saturday night for the 15th.

It could be worse but I was hoping more of the games would be made more Aus friendly by having the games at midday their time which would be 9pm/10pm for us, most of the other games are even later then that, like the Aus Fiji game the same day is 4:30/5:30am for us which is basically zero ***** on the game time.

I get the timezone difference sucks but the biggest markets of the game are being completely shut off for this.

World Cup organisers have a new rule for this years tournament where players are allocated a number for the duration of the world cup, they won't wear the number of the position they'll be playing.

in Australia's case, instead of being allocated a number based on the likely starting 17, they be allocating based on who had worn the Aussie jersey the longest (as devised by assistant coach Michael Hagan). the exception is James Tedesco, as captain he'll be given the number 1 jersey. if the haven't made their debut yet, they been allocated their jersey alphabetically

here are some of the numbers to be worn by Aussie players:

Kangaroos Squad Numbers

  12. Matt Burton
  13. Pat Carrigan
  14. Nathan Cleary
