Israel Folau - Bulldogs

Difference is Greenberg is a great CEO who saw Hasler was having issues and took advantage and got him from Manly, that signing alone is enough to make the Bulldogs a force for many years. White probably didn't even look at getting Hasler because our CEO has zero ambition in getting the best people for the job, the attitude is just "good enough".

What has White done in his tenure to improve the club? Sack Henjak? Miss out on Inglis? Miss out on Dugan? Sign Stagg? I'm struggling to think of one positive thing he's done. Look at Tomkins, a genuine superstar looking to play in the NRL, a few clubs are looking to sign him but all rumors once again point to us doing nothing in this regard. We should be exploring all options, player trades, ticketing arrangements, whatever there's always a way to arrange transfer deals instead it's just thrown in the too hard basket. We did with Hannant... What about Barba, are we doing everything we can to try to sign him if Folau leaves? Or are we waiting for a player to knock on our door and say please sign me.

White was appointed CEO in late 2010 and didn't assume the position until the first week of January in 2011.

By then the GI was already at South Sydney on his KFC bulk and the review of Henjak with a rating of 'he's terrible' was concluded.

He hasn't been great, for mine there hasn't been enough pressure on the football department to recruit a star player in either the fullback or halves position. But long term I believe he's made some fantastic moves sowing up the western corridor and Logan region.

I don't have any problems with White. Actually, I'm not even sure what he does most of the time, so that might be a good thing.
