Interesting stats comparison Renouf v Roberts.
Roberts
22 years
32 tries
52 matches
Renouf
22 years
27 tries
52 games
Renouf then exploded to 142 and that period from '93-'98 was prolific.
If Milf/Hunt live up to expectations, I see no reason why Roberts isn't capable of similar over coming years. Nice stats 1910.
I see a reason. . Hunt lines to score tries himself. Milford too at times. I don't think they'll be to rely on Roberts to score that many
As I understand it, Hunt will do most of his work with Roberts on his outside. Something tells me Hunt appreciates what that means, as does Milf , both of whom who I am sure will be looking to create opportunities for Roberts as much as taking them for themselves when appropriate
Lets see how he goes in his first season at the Broncos before jumping the gun about comparisons with Renouf.

Not at all and to be fair Wayne was comparing the X factor which is something Steve Renouf had more so then outright comparing him to Steve. All I'm saying is to have realistic expectations as people should have had with Milford early on last season instead of writing him off at 5/8th after a handful of games.
1910 yeah I know mate and I don't mind early comparisons as such, but full on career comparisons are a different matter(and I never claimed you had mate). I cringe when people say the next "Darren Lockyer" for example.I compared them at the exact same age and development. I didn't compare their careers.

Corey Norman.
Listening to the radio yesterday and I heard that WB was quoted as saying 'don't expect too much of Roberts' in 2016. I thought it was a classic WB thing to say when translated in my brain to mean...WB to Roberts....don't put too much pressure on yourself, trying to achieve a standard that's really high in your own mind. I just didn't take as being genuinely intended for the public.
Copley looked good for the chooks this morning. Worth trading him for a guy that has failed at multiple clubs?
