The window for premierships is wide open for this team.

I reckon its a question of timing with Black, rather than a outright call on his ceiling.

Seems the decision has been made we can't afford to waste this window with a rookie seven steering the team.

Alos, DD & his recruitment/retention team...what a incredible 12 months. DD nailed the coach hire (and coach firing to be fair), and his R&R team are knocking it out of the park...

Love people hating on us and our club again. We almost had their pity for a few years there, good to be back on top with a bit of arrogance and swagger.

Slightly disappointed . I'd heard it was a chance to happen next year when I posted this early October.

Club has cooled on Black. Interesting to see if he backs himself and stays in cup for a couple more seasons or finds another club.

On another note Coby has received a shit ton of publicity by being a broncos junior... he's known across the league at 19 and hasn't even debuted.

His manager will have a much easier time trying to find him a new home with that much spotlight, compared to if he was a junior at a random Sydney club and you get lost amongst 8 clubs of junior guns.

If the signing does eventuate it is a massive warning shot across the league.

Broncos will have become a legit destination club again.

I know we get spoken about as a destination club, but being able to recruit the hottest young halves prospect from out of nowhere is a huge coup and other clubs will be worried about the pulling power that we have again
 
Given the ages of Reynolds and Hunt, and with Walters out for a big chunk of next year, I wonder if we should have signed him for 2026 too?

Probably a cap thing though.
