Josh Hoffman at Fullback

his speed and history of injuries are my only two worries.

its great to hear this kind of enthusiasm from him though.

Injury wise I don't think theres any more concern then there is playing at centre, if anything the less tackling and selective involvement would probably help him, if your fears are his kick returns, why not have him play fullback in attack when in the opposition's half and have someone like hoffman there defensively.
 
And the best thing about it? How much is it going to motivate Hoffman to work HIS arse off to try and keep his spot? And Corey Norman for that matter.

Exactly and this could be the wake up call they have needed, some real competition for it.
 
It's no secret I'm a massive hodgo fanboy, and this is just great to see from hodgo, hopefully the other guys follow his leadership

How many times do you reckon that was said about Ben barba or DCE etc. before he got a chance to prove themselves. Now half this forum wants the broncos to offer their collective first born to sign them

Barba isn't even comparable to Bond at all. Barba was in the system for a long time before he made it. Bond is what 24/25 and going into his first year in the NRL
 
Hodges can do anything he wants. I'll be interested to see if Griffin gives him a shot at the role or if he just simply allows Hodges to slot in at fullback during periods of the game.
 
Hodges had by far his best season in 2006, he'll more than likely never play like that again. Still, anything to fire the other contenders up.

I never said he was, seriously can you read?

My point was that we don't know what joe bond is because he hasn't had a go at first grade. All we know is he is the best fullback in the q cup. I'm not even suggesting that bond would be good or should even be given a go, my point is the two I mentioned, especially DCE had no wraps on him before manly gave him a chance.
