Just heard on Sports Tonight that Glenn Stewart has been suspended for that tackle on Prince. Once again the Judiciary does NSW a massive favour [icon_razz1

Damn, Lewis is going great and NSW just got handed a much better player albeit through their own stupidity.

Glenn Stewart is the most overrated 2nd rower on the planet, but even though Luke Lewis is a much better player overall, I reckon NSW would be stronger with Stewart there instead of him. I mean having both Wing and Lewis on the bench is asking for trouble IMO. Now if they bring Laffranchi in, then we really got something to fear.

I totally read that wrong. **** I wish Stewart was playing instead of Lewis!

Kind of like a few years back when they picked Barrett at halfback only for him to be injured and them being forced to pick Johns. I think we all remember how that turned out.

He then went and took drugs? [icon_shru

F*ck it. Lewis has been on fire. Stewart's suspensions is only bad news for the bloke himself, and all Qld supporters. Next Wednesday just got a bit tougher.

Regardless of Lewis' form, it leaves their bench pretty light now, that could go in QLD favour.

Lewis should've been there in place of Wing.

Still, Stewart is no great loss.

Yep I agree Emma. Very light bench IMO, if the game turns out to be just a game of bash and barge, we're going to struggle with that bench.

Weyman and Poore are props I think your bench is plenty big enough.

Weyman is definitely big enough, I didn't think Poore was all that big?? I just think that a utility and a second rower/centre on the bench for NSW just might be a bit light when compared with QLD's.

Possibly but there Starting back rowers are all at a decent size unlike Johnson and Harrison.

Did you not see Harrison run over 3 guys to score a try Sunday?

does that make him 10 foot tall and 200 kgs??

No, but it proves that size can be over-rated.

Size does not equal strength or power.

Berrigan being a great example. He has amazing strength for someone that wasn't that big.

However, having two utilities on the bench does raise the issue of a light bench. They do not have a back rower on the bench at all. Wing is past it and while Luke Lewis is a great utility, he is not a specialist backrower. They should have brought Laffranchi in. Keep in mind that origin is much faster game with very few breaks than regular club games.
