Wasn't he playing lock in his most recent game? Bloody Nostradamus over here.
No I don't think so. He was shifted there late in the game and then subbed off.

Terrible news, hopefully not career threatening for his sake.
They did a similar thing with Barba if I remember rightly.Bulldogs played him when he was still injured.
If this is a contact injury koala poo needs to have a chat to his circle of "friends" and manager aboht the advice they gave him.
There is a strong correlation between neck injury and decreased neck strength. There is also higher risk of neck injury, together with concussion, with higher impact sports...
You develop neck strength with training. There is also less impact/velocity of impact in the tackles in reserve grade footy vs nrl. Another season in reserve grade and another off season (did he even have a full one?) Would have decreased the risk of this happening by a HUGE margin.
He was clearly not ready for 1st grade, and now his entire career will be impacted. Ironically, the 5/8th we have that he thought he deserved to be promised a spot in front of will likely make more money in his next contract then he could make in his entire career.
Yes, some trial-by-fire rookies work out, but far, far, far, far more don't... that manager should be out of a job after this. Absolutely destroyed this young man's career.n

Yes, yes he should be. He did break his contract early to come back for less you realise? He'd be earning nearly double what he is now already, and correlation does not result in causation. He is not a great player because he played earlier then he should have. We have him year 3, for 2 years warriors fans were complaining about his errors and defence, things that can and would have been ironed out in reserve grade without the sacrifice of nrl points and the pressure mounting on a young man. He's got a mindset that's rare, that's obvious, but if half the nrlplayers got the scrutiny he has for his errors the last 3 years they'd be playing park footy by now.So what about Reece Walsh`s manager ?
Fire him into the sun too ?
If you look closely you can see his shoulder being held together by tape. Lucky his arms weight that of an 18 year old, hence not pulling it completely out of the socket. Therefore ciraldo thought it was a good idea to put him in at lock... no negligence there at all.. coby black is playing prop for us next year, he's ready, his manager told us!View attachment 24855
It seems quite obvious that because of his disproportionate neck to body ratio
that a serious neck injury would one day occur.........
He needed time for his body to ....iron out. The Broncos saw this
Its total negligence ...... one could argue even criminal, that he was coerced into playing against older, more proportionate.....less giraffe like
men.
Those around him were so quick to cash in.
