Contracts start November 1st, so they've already paid 3 months of his salary for the year.I read the Knights won't pay a thing according to the newscorp article..?

Ohh ok. That's weird... i didn't realise that was a thing. Makes sense!Contracts start November 1st, so they've already paid 3 months of his salary for the year.
They're not paying anthing in addition to what they've already paid him for his services starting in November.I read the Knights won't pay a thing according to the newscorp article..?
We won't get gagai.Fantastic signing, absolutely fantastic. He has apparently signed on for cheap and that is already a positive. He has signed on for pretty solid motives and if he can become consistent, he is at the right age to reach his best. If he doesn't, we haven't paid a Kennedy wage to get him. This is another astute signing on top of Benji.
Now, if we can get Gagai to replace Roberts (if he gets sacked), I'll be so over the moon.
This signing also means that Matthew Ridge has one further hurdle to get over to break into the team, really makes him earn that redemption.

Roberts will play on (for now)
Will be a development program setup to help James improve as a person off field.

He'd be getting a bit long in the tooth wouldn't he? :wink:This signing also means that Matthew Ridge has one further hurdle to get over to break into the team, really makes him earn that redemption.
Matthew ridge ???
Offa wasn't even making the bench most of last year. Next to no chance he will be starting this year. He will be lucky to get a bench spot even.I actually would be fairly happy with for round one:
8. Blair
9. McCullough
10. Joffa
11. Thaiday
12. Gillett
13. McGuire
14. Marshall
15. Sims
16. TPJ
17. Glenn
I want to see our young blokes getting opportuinities. Let Sims earn that starting spot.

More likely that offa will be starting? Sims and Blair will be the starting front rowers with Mcguire at lock (unless it stayed with Blair and Mcguire starting, in which case Glenn would be lock). Sims will definitely be starting over offa. Bench will likely be Niko/Benji, Glenn, TPJ, Ese'Ese/Dodds/Ofa/S'uaIt's looking less and less likely, but i would still love to see McGuire stay at starting prob with Glenn taking the 13 jersey.
Especially since we have signed Sims, who will give us a bit more experience on the bench (albeit, not a huge amount)
That way we con continue the development of guys like JOffa and TPJ until they are ready for requirements of a starting prop, then we can move McGuire to lock
It is looking more and more likely to happen!
