How in any way shape or form is a player who; recognises his current contract, gave more than ample time for his notice, and claims he will never play against the Broncos done anything wrong to the club AT ALL? eusa_think

Not to mention he turned down huge money offers at the end of 2006 to re-sign with the broncos for less than half of what he could have got elsewhere. He has also already played more games for us than Tuquri did and has been a fantastic servant for the club imo.

We don't go out of our way to find things to nitpick about.

He never backed it up and his affectiveness was as temporary as the high amount of product he put in his hair.

I think you'll find that isn't technically nitpicking Hammo. It's just an observation which is used to reinforce another point. Nowhere in the post is there actually a statment which criticises the amount of product in his hair.

He may have been blamed for that but personally I haven't said that because of these Karmichael is a better football player. I have said he is a safer option at fullback, but that doesn't mean I think he is a better player. Look - it's obvious that Billy Slater is a better fullback than Karmichael Hunt, but you guys never give Karmichael a single bit of credit for anything he does.

Anyway, i agree totally.

Mate, I have always said it (and actually I lolz at anyone who believes anything other than it); I am a Broncos fan through and through. I respect the current Storm line up, I love some of the current Storm players (who all happen to be Queenslanders icon_thumbs_u ).

It's the same as my very vocal "agenda" against Corey Parker last season. Someone recently questioned me on him and I was the first to admit he changed his form around dramatically and is now the leading backrower at the club. I call it how I see it at the time.

I have never had an anti-Hunt agenda, people may read my posts as this, but they obviously don't sit with me at the footy or watch TV with me. I call all footy players how I see them**. Hunt was better than Slater until 2007 season. Slater has eclipsed him, IMO. That said, Hunt is still a brilliant player and athlete. Also, FTR, if I was picking the Australian team right now, neither Slater or Hunt would be in the team; Hayne would be my #1...then daylight.

I'm a Slater-lover and I can and have admitted KHunt is a great footballer. That said it is plain as day that he is nowhere near as fast as he once was, has very little line break ability, an average passing game at best and if he gets bigger (this may not happen now, as AFL will try and not bulk him up) would have to try and find a niche as a wide running backrower.

I'm yet to see you, beads, give any Storm player (not in a Maroons jersey when he makes a break/brilliant play) credit. Or in fact, give credit to a team which has made 3 GF's in a row.


**disclaimer; my biggest flaw as a Rugby League fan is I can't bring myself to give much credit to anyone in a Blues jersey. i have tried and I just can't.

I don't think Hunt is that great a footballer, that's why I don't give him credit for being one.

He can't tackle. He's slow. He can't pass. He's a fullback who needs to be able to tackle and have some pace for crying out loud!

He can catch a bomb, and put in the odd good grubber kick - I'll give him that.
