Liverpool FC Thread

MMmm, N'Gog showed some good pace chasing down that defelection.. we seem to just... subconciously take our foot off the pedal a bit when we get up one. Need to go for the jugular, finish the game off before we... as usual lose the lead.

Does anyone else just hate Wigan? I can't put my finger on why exactly, there is something about them that just pisses me off. It's almost like they just don't belong in the premier league.

Does anyone just hate that FC Barcelona?

I know there's a "Barca" thread, but my dislike is so much that I felt it necessary to expand the dislike to another thread. [icon_wink

They're on One at the moment in the Club World Cup replay for today. I felt dirty just watching them. Couldn't stand it.

I generally have a strong dislike or even hate for clubs who get so much support on the back of their success (in other words, glory hunting). However they play very attractive football so I quite enjoy watching them. Ditto for Arsenal, even though Wenger is a dickhead.

LOLZ!

Huzzah!

We have drawn Unirea Urziceni in the Europa League. Some small Romanian club.

Winner goes onto play either Lille or Fenerbahçe.

and everton drew sporting, ****! Then we go on to play athletico or Gala.

A festive joke for all the scousers!

I bumped into a man crying uncontrollably outside a department store in Liverpool yesterday, and all he could go on about was how he hates this time of year, dressing up in a ridiculous red outfit and embarrassing himself in front of thousands of people.

I said, "Look, Mr.Gerrard, you chose to play for Liverpool."

Forest are doing quite well this season mate, would love to see them back in the top division.

Forest are flying at the minute scoring goals for fun at home and the only team unbeaten away from home all season in any of the top divisions. How long it will last is anyones guess but im hoping for a few more months at least! [icon_lol1.

I reckon the Mags, West Brom and Forest would be good to see come back up. Whilst a dark demise would be nice for Newcastle, derbys are too good to resist.

Do I detect just a touch of relief there Nong? icon_thumbs_u

It would have been great to see Fulham get up in today's battle of the 'hams. They were the better side, but it was a great defensive effort from both teams.

I'll take the point away at Craven Cottage, some great goal keeping efforts keeping both sides in the game.
Not sure what Harry was doing resting our stars (Defoe and Modric) until the Spammers on Monday eusa_think

It was a great Ham derby. I even watched it!!! Great goalkeeping kept that game level. If all teams could change their names to something Ham, the Premier League would be way better imo. Hamchester United would be much more likeable. Sunderham would be european regulars. Ham teams ftw!

Defoe had an instant impact with a shot on goal with his first touch. They definitely left it too late for him to come on.

Bobby is still in great form. He got himself into a position to score a few times, but was only saved by some great goal keeping. He's been a part of some really nice 4-5 one-touch passes lately and we've been unlucky not to score more goals from them.

PS. Liverham. Everham. Arseham.
