lockyer out of test!

Lockyer's right knee was the one that was operated on, that's the knee that was strapped.

I feel sorry for Lockyer, but at the same time he was or whoever he listens to was pushing it abit with the knee, didnt Johns take wayyy more time off to make a comeback from reconstruction? I hope his knee will be right for Origin3 if it is a decider (hopefully its 2 zip to QLD then why bother) provided hes match fit..

Not quite. Johns came back as quickly as Lockyer, and was struggling big time. But then he broke his jaw and was out for like 8 weeks. Spent that time doing all the rehab and so when he came back again his knee was 100% right.

Someone break Locky's jaw ok?

Random Question for Frank.

I watched an episode of Grey's Anatomy last night with my girlfriend and you would be suprised at what I saw. In season 3 there is a bloke who speaks in 3rd person, and guess what his name is? Frank! Furthermore, he was in the hospital for pectoral implants, why would he want these you may ask? He wanted to become "tankier". Now, my question to you is, Did you get the whole frank the tank thing off Greys Anatomy, or it just some amusing coincidence?

Hammo the Armoured Personnel Carrier thinks Frank the Tank watches Grey's Anatomy. Hammo the Armoured Personnel Carrier is very disappointed, Hammo the Armoured Personnel Carrier is swiviling his .50 cal in disgust.

Meyers is out of town till next week so Locky's op has to wait. He is looking at about a month out.

Meyers is on his yearly fishing trip out of phone range... he wouldnt even know Locky has done his knee! He;ll come back to about a thouuusand msgs on his mobile haha

I hope he just decides to skip the SOO and concentrate on getting his knee right for the later rounds and then the World Cup.

Lockyer's op is on Monday. Could be anywhere between 2 weeks and a month. See how it goes.

Still confused about which knee is hurt. They did say the other night it was his good knee that was strapped.
Can anyone clear that up? Also which knee is being operated on. ?

Left knee was the one in which he tore his ACL (pretty sure) and his right knee is the one that got operated on today.

Heard on 2GB news that he will be out for 4-6 weeks and will certainly miss the first 2 origins, which is pretty much what I thought would be the case.

I highly doubt Lockyer will sit out 4-6 weeks, hopefully he does it will do him the world of good. I think it is bad if his right knee is playing up if both his knees are farked he could end up being gone for a few months

Huh? Serious? So both if his knees are farked?

That's FANTASTIC news! I was concerned that the knee he got operated on was his reconstructed knee, now THAT would be a major concern for the rest of the season.

But if it's his good knee - that's alright. A lot of players hurt their knee and only need a Arthroscope and it fixes the problem or whatever and never troubles them again. Let's hope that is the case with Lockyer.

Here is the link in regards to his surgery just done.

Its definitely his right knee that he had surgery on. Im struggling to confirm my thought on his left knee ACL rupture though. Can anyone else confirm my thought?
