McGuire a lock to take Parker's spot

TPJ starting with Glenn playing bulk of the game with tired forwards around then bring TPJ back on at the end just like the cowboys do with Taumalolo. Season might not start like that but could see it towards the end

I'm happy to give Arrow and Glenn the first crack at it in a shared role. Moving moose without adequate cover in the front row rotation is plain stupidity and would weaken that part of our game big time. TPJ should stay on the bench and be eased into the side continuously. I think he will get a lot more minutes this year (around 35-40 like Wallace) and he will have his work cut out for him fitness wise. Just remember about Taumalolo, it took him a good part of three years to finally adjust to first grade so don't just think throwing TPJ into a starting position automatically does the trick. I trust Bennett in how to properly ease a prop into first grade

I'm a real fan of TPJ he's a true machine, that's why let use him like taumalolo is used first 30 and last 30 of the matches. As for Glenn needs to stay on the bench to have a bit of experience on our bench.

Glenn would be solid but would he provide us anything more? I'm not sure. Think I'd rather him be Mr Fixit

I don't think TPJ could last 60 mins at this stage. It also seems like having a lolo style at lock is the new buzz trend around here; as if every team just has a lolo sitting around on the bench.

For what it's worth I'm going with Arrow starting and Glenn off the bench.

Only scenario we should move McGuire is if we get Napa, if that doesn't happen I think Arrow should get first crack, we've got fallback options if doesn't handle it well, Glenn / TPJ / Dodds.
I agree we should only move Mcguire if we get Napa / another big forward. I think I would prefer Glenn over Arrow, just because he is a bit bigger and has more experience. We have a small forward pack as it is so every bit of size counts.

Then u could have milf thiaday benji & mead on that edge.
Think I'll call Wayne.

McGuire:

""The lock position isn't any different to the front row anymore, you just don't take the kick-offs.

"It's going to be a hard hole to fill with Corey gone but we've got a good core group here that are definitely going to put their hand up and pick up that load.

"I'll play wherever Wayne wants to play me but I'm pretty sure I know where I'm playing next year and the coach knows and he'll make that decision public when he decides to."

I think McGuire just confirmed he's playing lock

He wants to play lock but Bennetts not going to exactly come out and say that's where you are playing so early in the off season unless he signed a certain prop

So would Dodds be taking over Jarrod Wallace's spot?

Arrow is actually a fair bit bigger than Glenn.
