More people are working on Saturdays these days as well I'd reckon.

Most people only work until lunch time on Saturday anyway, it would only be one Saturday a month for most teams anyway.

I know it'd never happen but I'd love a Saturday afternoon game.

Make Saturday a full on league fest. 3pm. 5.30pm. 7.30pm. And occasionally a delayed game at 9.30pm.

That'd be epic.

I'd totally be down for that. In fact that is one of the best ideas I've heard in a while.

Foxtel. The way the current NRL TV deal is the TV station's get to dictate the game times and schedule

I really doubt Fox Sports have that much pull over the game TBH.

Really, they pour a bit of money in to the game. The NRL and Gallop are weak as piss so dont be suprised that when Fox said move they said OOHHHHKKKYYYY

Sat arvo crowds were WAAAAAAYY higher than the Monday night crowds have ever been

I like AFL's format for games. 1 Friday, 4 Saturday (2 day and 2 night) 3 on Sunday (2 day and 1 arvo/evening).

I really wish Foxtel could get a better deal for live. I want them to show them all, or at least have all games live on FTA.

I agree, but whomever owns the broadcasting rights needs to show both games live. Sick of always having to watch the Broncos on delay down here. [icon_non

How many people on here actually watch both games?

NSW Broncos fans would obviously watch the delayed game. Do many in QLD stick around and watch the delayed game? I rarely watch all of the delayed game (including Sunday) as I already know the score and go do something else.

I would rather all games LIVE on TV and more day games. I am not too fussed on whether it is on FTA or Fox. I do think we need a few more games for the FTA viewers though.

If I don't watch it on Friday night then I tape the second game. Only way those of us without Foxtel can watch a couple of games over the weekend. If the second game or Monday's game was moved to Saturday afternoon then I wouldn't complain.
