MNF To Go?

I usually get bored in the 2nd game, especially for example like this week where it was a thrashing. Who cares?

If we keep 2 friday night games then I think the network should be made to show it live on 2 digital channels. Then we have a choice which game to watch.

How many people on here actually watch both games?

NSW Broncos fans would obviously watch the delayed game. Do many in QLD stick around and watch the delayed game? I rarely watch all of the delayed game (including Sunday) as I already know the score and go do something else.

I would rather all games LIVE on TV and more day games. I am not too fussed on whether it is on FTA or Fox. I do think we need a few more games for the FTA viewers though.

I generally watch both games. Love having double headers!

I was in Weipa for the game against the Titans and it was actually the second games. unlike in Brisbane, up there they played the first game at 6:30 and the second game at 8:30. :evil: they must have been running of Sydney TV time slots. which was a real pain in the ass for me since i had to get up at 4am to get ready for work.

they think clubs need to realise is that if MNF goes, there will be a hit taken during the negotiations for a new TV deal, so if that happens and the cap doesn't raise by as much as they want they better not complain.

If I don't know the result, then how is it any different?

Unless you mean you do find the result out, in which case I totally understand

I live in Adelaide and so live league is hard to get

Foxtel show the 5 games live that are not on Ch 9 but given that 4 out of the first 5 weeks this season the Broncos have been on Ch 9, my choice is to watch the Broncos delayed on Foxtel at about midnight or forther delayed on Ch 9 at about 3 in the morning

YES! This is my problem with the 2nd game on Friday night. Deadset 5-10 minute ad breaks between 5 minutes of play. Crap.

I actually try and record it and watch something else for an hour or so after the first game, then start watching the recording of the delayed game so I can fast forward the ads.

Yep, i will record the foxsports version and watch it ad free in the morning.

I get ticked off with the Sunday game telling the results of the 2pm game cos usually i'm out and about and have taped the game. FFS, spoil sports. So now I just watch the recorded 2pm game and then record the 4pm and watch it without the ads.

There's no reason why they couldn't charge more for the ads in the delayed game and put them on after a try as per the Live games, they'd get way more viewers and wouldn't need to sell as many ads.

I do this with pretty much any TV program nowadays, including the live games too. I just start watching about half an hour after the program started and can just fast forward through all the commercial sh!t. icon_thumbs_u

I've got my awesome Panasonic DVR STB and Austar HD box. Combined recording time of about 40 hours in HD. Full of win! icon_thumbs_u

I think this is becoming more and more popular and sortta expect the broadcasters to come up with a "solution" for the problem, like some webvideos that can only be seen after you go through the commercial... Otherwise, once this becomes very widespread, who'll want to pay for commercials on TV that no one watches...? [icon_shru

Oh for sure I did. And got pissed off with the ads :P
And usually I found out the score/listened on radio before it came on TV.
