I think he has proven he can come into a club with a talented roster and get the most out of it.
2 to 3 years would be his limit but I belive he would do well here.

I get the argument for Walters bringing the clubs culture back & appeasing the old boys etc, but I don’t know how they pass on a premiership winning coach given the recent experience of having an unproven coach. It’s not like Green doesn’t know the culture of the club either.

He may have overstayed his welcome, but he’s not a “shit coach”, he’s had success everywhere he has been.

Good coaches don't overstay their welcome. Lucky coaches get the right players in the right form of their career. Shit coach may have been hyperbolic, but he is certainly not a coach built for any form of sustained success.

I've voted for Kevvie.... not because he is the best coach available, but because right now we need an attitude adjustment in the playing group.
The board completely fucked up the last coaching change and because of that they have set us back at least 2-3yrs. We needed to transition from Bennett gracefully and instead they took a sledge hammer to the joint without seeing the obvious ramifications. The hit job on Bennett, farcical interview process for a new coach, overhauling of the coaching during a preseason and non-stop leaking from the club. The place is total amateur hour and ensured the playing group were completely pissed off before Seibold even arrived.
Because of that the broncos culture is now non-existent and we need someone to rebuild all the bridges those numpties burnt to the ground (old boys, fans, playing group, etc.)... to me that has to be Kevvie.
The issue may come if Kevvie fails as well, whilst not really improving anything on the field... the board would then need to make the decision of having to fire Kevvie and potentially burning bridges again.

Like other posters I’ll also be done if Green gets the gig. Not worth the damage this shit does to my mental health during the season. I’m sick of the board having no regard for the club’s members and fans. It’s sad but Lockyer has completely disgraced himself in my eyes, and he was my hero growing up.

I wonder if he's taking into account that Ikin is one of the favourites fir the CEO role.
If Ikin get's that job, he could push the board to hire his mate (he was on the Cowboys board that hired Green as well).

you really should read this thread ... i gave my opinion and the reasons behind that opinion. BTW, i also said that as an assistant, i don't think it's necessary for him to give up his origin duties.
