NFL 2013/2014 discussion

Credit to having today off. Thanksgiving games come at me!

I've got 2 weeks off work. I'm gonna start a Madden franchise as the Jaguars, move them to Canada and have Tim Tebow as my franchise quarterback....on All Madden. Wish me luck!

Pick up Weeden as a backup, get a real QB competition happening...

WTF happened to the Packers. I thought their D was pretty good but it opened up against the Lions.

Their D has never really been that great, it's just that they used to get a lot of turnovers because they played with a lead Rodgers gave them. They actually still forced like 3-4 turnovers and got a defensive score, it's just that they can't defend the run and they can't put up a lead and make teams throw.

Something to be said for being a good team with a mediocre quarterback - he's much more easily replaced. Mediocre teams with good QBs are always going to struggle when they lose the main guy...

What is the NFL jersey sizing like?? Also any good websites recommended to buy one from??

There are plenty of them out there, but most are not legal... They go up to size 56 in general, so they can fit fat ***** like me.

I would link you to one, but not sure I'm allowed to. Porthoz, is it all good?

8 wins in a row for the Panthers. The big test coming next week against the Saints.

The Colts o line sucked, the defence was getting all up in Luck's area. Still got the w though.

Wish I was home to watch the Seahawks-Saints Monday nighter. Torn whether to avoid scores and watch it tonight, or keep track as it's on...

Russell Wilson is a gun. Brees and Graham have an awesome connection as well.

Watched the end of the first and start of the second quarter on my lunch break, including both offensive TDs. Saints have a tall order ahead of them. Really need to score before the half, and then shut down the Seahawks offense in the third quarter and get back in it. Miserable conditions for scoring though, by the looks of it.

No way the Saints will recover from this under the conditions and Seattle's secondary... Too bad, as it would've given us half a chance to win the division.

Yep, feel it's over at 27-7. Unless they cause a couple turnovers and get some points on D, I don't think there's any way they catch the Hawks from here. Road to the SB goes through Seattle for the NFC, looks like.
