Now that you mention it I would be amazed if the Tokyo Olympics goes ahead, this thing is no joke. (I have been saying that for weeks but no one's paying attention).

Nah just the flu m8, China locks down 10% of the world's population and tanks their economy all the time...

I was in Singapore a couple of weeks ago. They’re taking it fucking seriously there. Here in the UK, they’re still in denial. It’ll cripple London when it hits the tube, probably within the next few weeks. I’m worried I might not be able get back to Australia in a couple of months.

I’m in Italy at the moment. Luckily in the middle of nowhere, but I’ll have to run the gauntlet of Rome Airport in a couple of weeks. Home via Tokyo but just a transit. Hadn’t given much thought to major sporting events being put on ice. Quite feasible if it gets bigger. Anyway, disappointing end to the trial game, but happy to judge them after 80 minutes of round 1. My real fear is that Milford doesn’t have that killer instinct and may just fade into laziness now that Croft is there. Time will tell, I guess.

You need to stop by Christmas Island on the way back

Unless your employer is an utter bozo he shouldn’t be letting you anywhere near the office for a fortnight if you’ve been in Italy. I was in Gatwick yesterday where flights were coming in from Venice, Verona, Milan etc. The poms don’t even have scanners in place. God save the UK.

Yeah mate I believe it. But here in Brissie everyone is still sleepwalking. I've been telling friends and family to buy any medicine stuff they need or MIGHT need right effing now, and stock up before the shelves empty. No one's listening.

You need to stock up on hand sanitizer now, because it will definitely sell out. And try to find some masks, not so much to prevent you getting it but you asymptomatically giving it to older people like your parents.

difference right now between our best 13 and the rest of the squad has been laid bare for me. Real shame SoS was injured.....I reckon after this he does get another crack when he returns.

Lets see how we travel over 80 minutes with proper rotations from the bench. Thats what our spine needs, as much time as possible playing 80 minutes together.

I wish Bird every ounce of luck at fullback, thats a tough gig to get straight after another long term injury, I hope the demands of fullback dont break him (we have effectively got a brand new spine too dont forget...)

Its clear as daylight to me we have a ceiling with this team while we are apparently contractually obligated to play Boyd and Macca.....any team we play NOT targeting Boyd in defence deserves to lose to us..

Didn't watch the game, but after skimming over the last 25 pages of people losing their shit I've summed the game up as:

Carrigan is a future immortal
Croft is good
Haas is great, except when trying to tackle people
Our backline is one of the worst in the history of the NRL
Darius "Training the house down" Boyd somehow got worse
Seibold is a worse coach than Henjak
Milford lost some weight, but also lost some skill
People would rather Josh McGuire at hooker than McCullough
