Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow named at 6 is an interesting call from Payten

He played a similar role last week.

Despite being named at 1, Tabuai-Fidow was essentially playing as a roaming centre while Val defended 3 in with Drinkwater at the back.
Yup not only has Payten got the Cows full of confidence and seemingly humming (I still expect them to falter, particularly if/when they need to play in Sydney - not sure they have got another gear to go to) he's got them so dialled into their systems that he's now able to swap players around and they still seem to not miss a beat. It's remarkable what he's done with their squad tbh, as much as it pains me to say, I'm jealous. He'll win Coach of the Year and rightly so, don't forget they finished below us on the ladder last year.

The rivalry is real. I caught myself watching Feldt fucking around and genuinely barracking for Souths last week. Then I remembered Latrell and Walker and gave myself a swift uppercut.

Hornby the likely coach for the Rabbitohs this week. JD tested positive on Tuesday for COVID

Kaufusi just spears into the side of the knee while Oppa was held upright by 2 players .............................and play on.

A couple of tough penalties here, first against Melbourne and now Parramatta. Melbourne have been pushing the boundaries, but the penalty against Kamukamicka wasn't consistent with any other interpretation.

Even start so far, I'd give Melbourne the slight advantage with the Munster line-break but the forward pass has hurt them.

Good vision from Dylan Brown. Noticed there was space back on the inside and the cover was going to be susceptible to a step. Poor work from Kamukamicka and Munster, they should have been able to wrap it up, but credit to Brown.

Now Melbourne kick it too close to the sideline. Sivo with the right presence of mind bats at the ball to earn the penalty.

If you need to find some form before the finals, play the broncos.

Huge defensive play from Olam to shut down the overlap. It was all or nothing and he hit Moses with the kitchen sink. Not only preventing the try but preventing Moses from executing a quick play the ball.

Brown once again finds success by taking on the line and earns a quick play the ball. The Eels play the numbers with Niukore charging over but Melbourne scramble well to hold him up cm from the line.

Melbourne do well to defend their error off the kick-off.

Melbourne inviting Parramatta into their attacking half again with an unforced error from Bromwich.

Now Nofoaluma with an obvious leg pull on Papalii on the last to gift Parramatta another oppotunity. Parra go sideline to sideline, Moses sets it up for Penisini but Will spills it over the line.

Did Melbourne just take Nelson off after that?
