his first year was great he didnt carry on like a moron of have any perceived bias. No idea what happened the last few years but he is such a flog and so insufferable to listen to with his fake loud excitement .

All of the commentators have got worse. Happened to watch a 2006 game the other day (06 gf qualifier - up the broncos!) and the commentary was so measured and insightful. Peak Sterlo, Rabs and Gus.

not sure why but it just feels like such a scummy thing to do doesnt it.

You just shouldnt mock and imitate other fans like that especially when your beating them during the game. Everything eventually comes in full circle there will be a time when penrith will be one of the stuggling clubs again and with the way its players and fans carry on you wont find many fans feel sorry for them

yeah i swear its done on purpose to try and entertain the kids and teenagers and bring in more a young audiance . Wonder if any kids or young teenages fine it entertaining though.

Yep. He is done coaching the Raiders and maybe coaching for good. Might go to England or something-reverse Raiders.

I'll be interested to see what Ricky has to say in the press conference. Raiders deadset cannot buy a penalty and if you wanted to feed off the Peyton and Holbrook theme of top teams getting reffed differently then this is the game to do it.

For example the 3 or 4 sets where the panthers were rushing up keeping the raiders in their own 30 for the whole set. Generally speaking the referee always finds an offside penalty in that situation. They seem to just assume that one player at least has gone early and the attacking team get a piggy back down the field. But today there was nothing from the ref.

That's some seriously good dicilpline over the last 2 weeks for the panthers to only give away 4 penalties compared to their oppositions 14.

Problem raiders have is who do they replace him with? the coaching calibe atm feels like its at a all time low. wouldnt mind seeing some more lower grade coaches make the step up surely there are some gems around that just need to be given the chance

I reckon Panthers might have earned the hate of every other teams fans today.
Not only with the heavily one sided reffing in this second half, but their fans rubbing salt in the wound of a badly beaten team is about as poor sportsmanship as it gets.

When the Panthers downfall comes, i hope they cop it hard from every other teams fanbase relentlessly.
They have overtaken the Storm as my most hated team after today.
