NRL 2023 Round 1 Discussion

Dolphins play Raiders next Saturday at Suncorp... the scenes from Ricky having to start the season with two day games in Qld hahaha

Looking forward to this next game too.

On a side note, imagine getting dropped from the first game of a brand new team, and watching them win convincingly without you.

How you reckon Milf is doing right now?
Probably just smashing his 4th big mac

I think like us with Penrith, the REDCLIFFE Dolphins got the Roosters at the right time. New combinations for the most part, missing a few key forwards etc...great game.
You are probably right but I can envision the Dolphins fighting the Broncos and Titans for that last playoff spot. The WB factor is such a big advantage.

The likes of Penrith, Roosters and Cowboys are still heavyweight contenders and will be in the thick of it come September.

Koroisau not starting is interesting.

Goodness, if the TItans are trying to sell themselves to Dave as a place to stay, they could not have made a better sales pitch for us.

Nice try saver from Dave, showing desperation befitting his new team.

Koroisau not starting is interesting.
Teams do it all the time now... starting hooker takes the grunt of the initial exchanges bench hooker comes on and plays out the game.

Panthers were doing it with Api last year

Just when you thought the Roosters would be the worst team of the weekend

Titans: hold my beer

Fifita running a line off a competent half... almost like the last few years may have been more about terrible service from his halves rather than laziness

Mal looking like he’s getting ready to ambush fifi with a contract out the back of the toilet block

Surely Mal has caught on its now all about the sandwiches you give out.......
