Could not be a better textbook example and of course the bunker goes the other way.

Because the bunker can hear the ref tell them they'll lose.

Bunker either doesn't know the rules or is just blindly backing his useless mate on the field.

It's basically the same as Gee the other day influencing the bunker by his talk on the field

It was a penalty before the playball anyway because of the leg pull but incompetence in the bunker kicks in.

I agree. It’s disgraceful. The bunker knew they’d make him look like a fool if they overturned after him saying that. The referee shouldn’t be influencing challenges or bunker decisions at all.

The NRL trying to justify this when Gee did it, will see it happen more frequently
