CROSS FORUM NRL 2023 Round 24 Discussion

So how far back is the bunker allowed to review "because it's a goal line drop out"?

They've just awarded a 40/20 instead of a drop out

Fletcher baker looks like a great buy. He should be a mainstay in the Roosters 17 and will be a good shout for a top 17 in our team i reckon.

Wish we went for Billy Smith 3 or 4 months ago as well, he would have been a bargain with his injury history...

Is Teddy ever not talking to the ref about some bullshit... biggest whinging bitch in the game... and that's with Moses and Gutho both existing
Glad to see the example they set with Walsh has carried over to other teams really treating refs with respect... I'm sure ppl at my work would think I respected then if I yelled in their ears about how their doing everything wrong their entire shift...

Fucking hell the reffing is so poor... dolphins get a penalty because Wallace takes a dive.

Everything is being reffed based on appearance

There is the Napa we know and...well, just know. Giving away a dumb penalty when his team is in possession.

I'm sure we have been penalised for an offload while held is being called. Fmd these things enrage me.
Last season and the season before we were penalised for things that aren't even looked at anymore

Did anyone see the Challenge cup final?

That game was nuts, won in golden point with a Field goal by Lachlan Lam.

Come on man, don't ruin the result straight up for any one who hasn't watched it, I've put it behind a spoiler.

But yeah, this is why I have been saying Lam is my Reynolds heir. I know it will be Madden but Lam is an absolute gun who was shafted by the Roosters.

another Tigers loss, another week of the Tigers and their coach blaming the ref for that loss.

Tim Sheens is whinging that Utoikamanu was penalised while in possession for raising the forearm collecting Wayde Egan in the throat (which sent him to hospital) ... although he hasn't complained when DWZ got put on report for a similar incident on Bateman.

Tim Sheens has also issued a "warning" to the MRC.

“ (Utoikamanu) better not (be cited) after what happened with Api,” Sheens said post-match

“He didn’t hit him in the head at all. He’s gone and had some problems with his breathing.

“All of a sudden it is a penalty, I can’t see why it is a penalty.

“There was no penalty and there was no suspension when it happened to Api. Why is this now a problem?”

Adam Doueihi tweeted:

How many weeks in a row can we be on the wrong end of these ref calls. Seriously, becoming a joke.

You know what I liked, the guy in the Bunker, he was actually rational and calm, he explained what he was trying to look at, he didn't rush, he explored all the angles, he stepped you through his process so you understood his reasoning behind his decision.

It was completely opposite to the rushed and paranoid decision making process based on secret discussions between officials in the NRL bunker.................and the commentators left him too it without trying to influence the decision.
