CROSS FORUM NRL 2023 Round 24 Discussion

I dont understand teams jamming in on penriths shapes. Make dylan edwards beat you with a pass. Incredibly frustrating to watch. It's only been 3 years.

Manly recruitment and development is a pile of ass. Certain contingent of the playing groups attitude stinks too. I'll let you guess who it is. They need a complete clean out.

I'm no Arthur fan but why the **** has he not been tried at 5/8th permanently for this team?

Arthur probably should have been on as soon as Schuster kicked on the break earlier

sorry Garrick, no point taking a dive when you're playing the Panthers

Did penrith not knock it on off the second kick from olakuatu??

Looked like it was only Panthers competing for it

I feel like Garrick has been calling his own number all night.

Has kicked it more than I've ever seen, random kicks for him, running himself

Jason Saab is the fastest man in the nrl by probably 3 or 4m and he has refused to take on Jack Cogger on the outside about 3 times. Absolute rocks in some of these guys brains.

Unfortunately Manly have well and truly imploded since the Garrick mistake. They just seem like a one trick pony and unless Cherry-Evans weaves his magic the opposition account for them too easily and they just fall apart.

That’s why we have such a well rounded team - anyone can be a threat and it makes it harder for opposition teams to defend.

Penrith will get the third in a row. Forget the other teams, especially the Broncos who the NRL could not give less of a shit about as long as we keep on drawing 40,000+ a game at Lang Park without fail, the NRL will not allow it to play out any other way. Someone get Vince McMahon on the phone because it wouldn't be much different.

Someone at the foot of the Mountains has some very compromising material on V'landys.

Watching the highlights because I missed the game:

Crichton try should have been a short ball and the 2nd Rower is away. Piakura and Riki eat that up all day.

Turuva try should have been an obstruction. The Penrith player moves into a blocking position to allow Turuva space to run through. Looked planned, actually.

Why was Manly playing Rugby Union and kicking back? So weird.
Same as when they were terrible at numbering up on Crichton's second try. Who is coaching defense?

Wtf was the story with all the knock-ons you lot were on about?

Manly looked shot at the end. Was it really a leg-up game from the refs?
