NRL 2023 Round 3 Discussion

They will call this back, he didn't ground it twice

Gilbert gives me psycho vibes. I reckon he will pull some suss shit when we meet. Hopefully he’ll get a binning.

I love him as a player. Been talking about him since way before he even made the Cowboys team.

Wonder what they will do with Miller if Ponga has to drop back to fullback or even next year when Pryce rocks up.

could crossland play a smallish forward role and have miller at 14?

Not sure really what i make of Crossland. Seems to make the wrong decision a fair bit.
yeah i think he would be better suited to a tacklebot/link man rather than being in at dummy half that last play was of diminished capacity
got a feeling though ponga wont be around long, one more hit and that might be curtains for him.

That Tesi Niu try gets overturned more often than not

The Niu try was a test for the new interpretation. I'm OK with it under the rules, it's just a question of whether the rule needs tweaking.

The Gagai penalty was dumb but the referee could have chosen to ignore it. How many times do we see those type of escorts let go because it had no bearing on play? It was a bad kick and O'Sullivan was extremely lucky to get a reward.
