Oh my god who fucking cares. The Broncos have far more to worry about right now than turning up for an NRL sponsorship blowjob.
Indeed - but I’d even go one further.Pretty sure they're between a rock and a hard place on this one...damned either way
Pretty poor of the broncos to not send a couple of reps in their HOME city at a time the clubs image is taking an absolute pounding.
Surely it’s in NRMA’s best interest to have the club reflected positively at a time like this and scraping together some goodwill. More damage was done to their brand rather than any good publicity YOUI would have received.
Yeah the article is click bait but It’s still a BS decision from the club imo.
We play at Suncorp stadium 12 times a year. Suncorp are a massive insurance company as well as a bank. No conflict there? Should have just sent someone with a massive NRMA logo on their shirt.
People need to stop looking to the NRL or the media, especially in Sydney, for a fair go, or to treat us nicely or even respectfully.
We've been successful for a really long time, the best part of three decades now. Some of the people with their knives out now have waited their entire careers for a chance to kick the Broncos while they're down. Let's face it, we are down right now and you have to expect that the chance to exact some small semblance of revenge for 30 years of pulling their pants down year in year out is going to be far too tempting for a lot of these guys to pass up.
Just don't forget how much it stings though, and when we get back up of the canvas before long and go back to bending them over again on a regular basis, it'll be all the more sweeter when you can rub their faces in it. We're the bad guys, the evil empire, lets just embrace it because it's what we've always done best.
Bernie Powers says hi.
melbourne paid $800 guys, that is how you set an example as a powerhouse club
It's not like the Broncos can just decline to play at Suncorp though, is it?We play at Suncorp stadium 12 times a year. Suncorp are a massive insurance company as well as a bank. No conflict there? Should have just sent someone with a massive NRMA logo on their shirt.
Now watch the refs royally **** us over on Friday
Broncos were already playing at Suncorp when NRMA came on board. They knew that going into the sponsorship deal. It's not like the Broncos can just decline to play at Suncorp though, is it?
