I came on here watching the Storm Vs Rabbitohs replay.
I thought about Big Money Lateral. I thought about other supposably, Big Money signings. There is a graveyard of Big Money signings; Milford, Ben Hunt, Jack Bird, etc. It is just, So Big,. Heavy mining excavators and bulldozers are needed for this mass grave. Clubs are so desperate. Always chasing a whiff of talent. The jury is in, clubs can not be trusted to manage the salary cap. What is the a way forward? Our recent history has shown that weak administration is a death sentence. How do we save clubs from themselves?

Talk now that Kristian Woolf could be moving to the Phins as Waynes assistant. He's an excellent coach, and would probably help them get JT13 over the line. Looks like the Dolphins could be paying up $600k for him with the cows chipping in the rest. Woolf and JT13 would be excellent business for them.

JT13 would be elite again under WB. If there's one coach that is a forward specialist, it's WB. 600k is a good deal.

It is an AMAZING deal if they made this happen. I mean, if I were the Broncos, I'd be throwing my hat in the ring too.
Not because we need him, just because I don't want the Dolphins getting such a good deal.

I would be stunned if Cows do that, almost cheaper to sack the coach

I guess the question is, can the Cows bring in someone who can produce what JT13 is currently at 600k? I say probably. I don't think we'll see peak Taumalolo again even at the Dolphins but a change of scenery would do him good.

Long time for the Cows to still be chipping in $400k of their cap for a guy to play for somebody else.

Holmes is certainly a worthwhile pickup just at nowhere near what the Cows are paying him.

They have to do something. Even if they subsidise half of their salaries that would still free up about a million a year. Add to that they will lose Mcleans $700k a year contract and that gives them a decent chunk of the cap back.
