Just looking at the drama with these deliberate penalties given so teams can captains challenge. Isnt giving away a penalty deliberatly a sin bin offence anyway? Even if they win the challenge, surely anyone that does it should be binned regardless.

It's like a reset though, so if a challenge is successful everything resets back to the point of the indiscretion that is overturned... effectively the professional foul doesn't happen.

What would be interesting is if someone committed an act of foul play after the point of the successful challenge... and if it was deemed bad enough to chuck in the bin.

I think they would still bin them and it would probably be part of foul play off the ball... like when shit happens as players head to the sidelines for half time, etc.

It's exploited because the refs are getting it wrong.

As I said in a different thread they had a chance to make a stand in the titans game... I thought the penalty they gave Herbert was soft. They could've made a stand and gone challenge unsuccessful and binned him.

Right now players and coaches are thinking refs and the bunker are weak and are scared to bin players so if you know the rules you can get things overturned.

The pull on Herbert had zero impact on the play and they could've binned him for the blatant foul

I'm fine with it. The ref's are hopeless and miss/ignore half the shit so more power to the people I say. Send em to the bin if they were wrong.

I just dont think 2 wrongs make a right personally no matter how wrong the refs are getting it.

just on that whole incident; while the Titans are reportedly investigating the security guard, I actually have to give credit to the streaker who not only admitted that she got what she deserved and that the guard was just doing his job, but also that she ticked off an item on her bucket list.

the Streaker told Seven News:

“I got what I deserved. He (the security guard) was doing his job.”

the Streaker told Triple M:

“I know exactly what I did. It’s been a bucket list thing and when your friends say, ‘I dare you to do it’, you don’t actually think you’re going to do it. It was such a surreal, out-of-body experience,” she said.
