You know, I watched Fifita's try against Parra. Imagine if he was still with us and on that right edge with Kotoni, goodness there would be some absolute shockers between them but on that rare occasion they were both on, I'd feel sorry for the defense, it would be absolute carnage.
Imagine how broke we would be, couldn't afford a decent half like Reynolds, I know which I would choose

Not sure why Benji has his own show, but he shouldn't.

Really cringe the way he hosts that..

Just so we are clear, I'm not saying we made a mistake not keeping him, I am just talking about a hypothetical.

Much worse than hitting a woman apparently. I will be writing about this too. It is going on to the lack of consistency list. Also apparently 4 times worse than a racial slur toward a female.

Kotoni got off pretty lightly for his homophobic slur, which was pretty much identical to Montoya's. A 10k fine for him seems light compared to this. Again, as we always say, there is just no consistency.

It does not matter, the world is a glass helmet now.

"Rugby league is a game for everyone, that's what I love most about our game. I'm proud that we bring people together," Abdo said.

Any you boys want to transition? No doubt you would be able to play against women with Abdo at the helm....although you would have to make it past the first boss:

On NRL360 last night (not tonight), Trent Robinson was asked if they have interest in Payne Haas. He answered no conversations about Payne Haas have occurred and that due to salary cap pressures (haha yeah yeah) they might have to develop from within. He said they will have some money to play with though with JWH and SST moving on.

In other words, look we can't openly say we are after him...but we are.

James Tedesco isnt getting any younger. When Payne comes off contract i believe he will be 32? They will be able to sign Payne with the 2 million a year they will tell the media they have been paying Teddy. Suaalii takes over at fullback. Problem solved.

Graham Annersley:

Everyone needs to stop with this narrative that top teams are favoured, it isn't true, bottom teams just need to get better (paraphrased).

Now, top teams will be penalised less because they defend less (which of course happens when you are getting the stuffing kicked out of you by being over penalised no?) so they are more likely to be offside (che?).

Now, here's an example from the Roosters-Warriors game where the top team got two beneficial calls their way...but no, no, this does not happen, k?

You cannot make this stuff up.

Ahhh of course the tried and true... "just be better"

It always reminds me of the underpants gnomes from south park.

Phase 1. Crap teams just need to be better
Phase 2. ???
Phase 3. Success

I wonder if the fact that no coach has lasted more than 2 full seasons after taking over from Bennett makes JD nervous.

Not being privvy to the arrangements Eddie Jones made with Pies, but for him to be offered an assistant coaching role with the English rugby team and then potentially leg it over to Hull and apply for the head coach job doesn't exactly inspire loyalty.

As I said not being aware of their arrangement it's hard to say, but it looks like an absolute shit move by Siebold the way it has been reported.

It is not like the guy has a reputation to protect, let's be honest.

the bigger question is why would Hull want him ... were they drunk when they made the decision to offer him the job

Club: 'So Anthony, why should we hire you and how would you explain what happened at Brisbane?'

Anthony: (weird hand movements and shoulder rubbing) *incoherent rambling* 'I don't need to be paid (whispers) any more than 500000 a year on a six year deal with option in my favour (ends whisper), Brisbane is still paying for me.'

Club: 'You're hired!'

Why is that such a bad thing?

If you were going for your dream job and there wasn't an opening, so you take another job in the process but then an opening in your dream job comes up, who wouldn't take it?

It's a bit much to bag him for that. He wants to be a head coach. There wasn't an opening when he was offered the assistant coach role. Now there is.

These jobs are hard to come by. You've got to take your opportunity whenever one presents itself.

The sole reason he’s in the UK is because he was invited over and into a job. To have that all set up for you and then in a matter of weeks drop your employer for a totally different gig seems fairly underhanded to me.
You might see that as acceptable and normal.

if we all agreed on everything this forum would be a dull echo chamber, but being honest, I can’t for the life of me see how you are able to brush over the fact if Eddie Jones had not invited him over with the promise of work he wouldn’t be there.
