Carrigan will be gone for three. Probably not a bad thing, he’ll come back in beast mode
Hastings has a broken leg
Hastings has a broken leg, Patty is screwed.
Hastings is also a media favourite since he's returned from England. A Bronco thug taking him out will have the judiciary champing at the bit to make an example of him to show they haven't gone soft on foul play.TBF, some Bronco was bound to be screwed as soon as the media and fans started laughing at the NRL for nor charging NAS or King
pat should have been around the legs already had two up top
I can't even bring myself to watch the games today. I just don't care about the game itself anymore, only my Broncos. I couldn't care less who else wins or loses or gets injured. **** the NRL for ruining my love of rugby league.I fucking hate this sport. That was a normal tackle. The Storm continue to do these things, get away with it and then when everyone else does something even close to it the NRL over police it and just continue to ruin the game. Meanwhile the Storm just create a different tackle to intentionally injure their opponents. **** this entire sport.
Wrap the legs happens all the time dont drive at the legsthen they would have don e him for a cannonball
Wrap the legs happens all the time dont drive at the legs
And this is what happens when the ref refuses to call held when momentum is clearly stopped and the ball clearly wrapped up. It's the NRL's wish to increase entertainment value, so offloads are desired to promote second phase play. To promote offloads they hold off on calling held for as long as they can, unless the attacking player is being forced over the touchline etc. It's dumb, it causes more injuries as players are fighting against typically multiple tacklers to hold their position.Shame is there wasn’t even any need for Carrigan to contribute to the tackle - it was wrapped up and under control
This got a fine only:
