From Daily Telegraph.NSW inspiration Paul Gallen is poised to announce he will play on in rugby league until the end of 2016. But he will call a close on his representative days after next year.
The Blues skipper and his manager, David Riolo, have spoken privately about extending his deal at Cronulla for one more year. He is off contract after next season.
“There is a rumour floating around at the moment. Me and my manager have spoken about it,” Gallen said. “We haven’t tabled anything to them (Cronulla) at the moment and I don’t even know if he has been to them. We spoke about it a couple of weeks ago.
