If it's just speed they are after they should have gone after James Roberts when he was released. He's faster than Mead and a better overall talent (albeit discipline issues). Would preference Fisiiahi to Mead as well.

Mead really lacks play making skills and being an extra playmaker in attack is a big part of being a fullback today. I can see Ricky signing him as he seems to have an outdated view on fullbacks and the Raiders need to sign someone there to fill the void left by Milford.

Totally agree, but I think ricky is to the point that beggars cant by choosers. Mead would be a terrible option for them because they really need a fullback with playmaking ability to compensate for their useless halves.

I can see Ricky giving him a massive contract and trumpeting his signing to prove he can still sign players

Tate is still attempting to return the guy doesn't know how to give up, although I'd expect a JYY style retirement.

Cowboys did have a look at Hala and attempted to convince Teo to stay in Australia, I was also teased that they are ready to throw a big payday at a certain Broncos prop.
