I'd be surprised if he actually left Union and if he does it'll be for a **** load of cash. Not worth it for a club with plenty of juniors who play his position.

If we could get rid of Gillett or Glenn, Hala, Hoffman, Kennedy, Lowrie, Stagg and possibly Thaiday, we won't lose anything from the back line. Our young fellas could fill those gaps easy.

I always thought Mateo had the potential to be one of the best ball playing backrowers in the game. He always had a few tricks up his sleeve, he had good footwork and good speed for a bloke his size, but he was always too bloody lazy.

Hopefully that changes at Manly.

Eels announced the signings of Anthony Watmough, Brad Takairangi, Reece Robinson, Danny Wicks and Richie Fa'aoso for Season 2015.
