I like Austin, but there are so many red flags bothering me with that signing that I can't help but hope it doesn't pan out as badly as I think it will.

3 years on reportedly good money for a player who has basically gone from backrow, to five eighth to centre and all around again? Somebody who never really had what you'd call a stand-out game to his name and at best, strung together a couple of highlights all season and there were never any real plans for him other than to replace Moltzen for some time.

It just smells off.

Maybe if this was Des signing him I'd be paying attention, but it's Sticky after everyone else rejected them. It's being trumpeted as another good signing but I don't get a good vibe of it from all.

Haha, that's so true. Fingers crossed for him as I think he has talent. He'll certainly be an upgrade on Campo and McShit.

Blair is no loss but offloading Kelly is. They need genuine game breakers and X-Factor in a pretty average backline and Kelly was capable of providing that. Shame that he is another talent that has gone to waste.

It's certainly a decision we need to jot down and go back to next year to see whether or not it was successful.

With Kelly, I get the feeling that Henry thought we'd seen the best he had to offer and if they're a real shot at winning they had to look at serious options.

He better hope that either Elgey, Hazard or Fogarty can step up.

Either that or they're going to try and buy Beale.

Mortimer is certainly in the mix, but I don't think Henry would be so quick to release Kelly if it wasn't for the presence of the players I mentioned.

I can see Sezer leaving in the near future too, playing for the Titans and the Raiders pretty much means you are no chance of ever making a debut for NSW.
