NRL Player Movements and Rumours 2015

It depends on who you're referring to exactly Morkels. If it's all Kiwis, then it fails to explain the All Blacks who are easily the best drilled side in the world and have been for well over a decade at this point. If it's just the Warriors, you may have a point. One of the interesting points Tate made in his book was the differences between the Broncos, Warriors and Cowboys. The latter two had a real DYI sense to pre-season where they could barely afford a decent pre-season camp or even get the water bottles set up. Tate wasn't bagging them or anything, just revealing the different mentalities and how the Broncos feel like a professional organisation on and off the field.

It's worth pointing out that all these transfers are just rumours at this stage. In fact, Pritchard has come out and denied the Warriors switch so it is what it is.

It's a League thing. Union is so big there that the All Blacks are the pinnacle. The Warriors need to set themselves up as the same, instead of the "other" code, the lesser code. It took Bennett's behind-the-scenes work with Kearney to get the NZ national RL team to step up (Glenn's article fuels this), someone needs to do it with the Warriors and it needs to be someone dominant enough to get the front office to buy in as well.

Ali Lauititi returns to the Warriors.

Souths deny Walker an immediate release..

And Titans are reportedly making a play for Hiku.

Hasn't been mentioned but Willie Mason has signed with Super League.

My grandad used to call him Willie Wagtail, speaking of names just above.

We used to call him Big Willie which also means LARGE PENIS.

Well they don't need to when they've managed to sign one of the best forwards in the game for 500k...

THE Sydney Roosters have emerged as a shock contender for the services of NSW Origin hooker Robbie Farah after the Tigers hooker formally requested a release from Concord. The Roosters, St George Illawarra and Penrith have all expressed an interest in signing the Tigers number nine after his fallout with Tigers coach Jason Taylor.
The Roosters have one of the best hookers in the NRL in Jake Friend but have decided to make a play for Farah given his experience.
Farah’s contract saga with Wests Tigers took a bizarre development when the battling club chose to deny his request for an immediate release from the club on Friday.
With clubs lined-up to sign Farah, the Tigers have attempted to block Farah’s departure at the 11th hour after a last-minute backflip from the struggling club.

Surely, the Roosters are just taking the piss now.

personally I think Friend is a much better option . He's a good hooker who doesn't throw tantrums and have sooks and doesn't try to have every coach fired .

It's perfect for them, isn't it?

Farah will be released, Tigers will pay the bulk of his contract and Roosters will have a NSW rep for minimum wage.

And the Robbie Farrah tornado of distableisation will continue.

To be fair, everyone else has had their chance.

So they tell their best player that he's not needed for next season, then when his management requests a release in the off season, they deny it? Tigers are so retarded

Who knows. Maybe the Roosters said they'd chip in $100k ad the rest would have to be paid by the Tigers, which would essentially save the Tigers a whopping $20k under the cap when you factor in them having to promote another player to the top 25 (and minimum $80k salary).

FTR, I think the Tiger's biggest mistake (besides letting Farah rule the joint) was spending so much on Brookes & Moses. They were signed on potential, and on decent money in order to stave off poachers. Tedesco at least showed enough promise, those two have proven that a couple of young creative halves don't work if they're both speed bumps in defence. Attacking prowess is nothing if you're constantly leaking points, on the back-foot, and fatigued because they have easy targets on both edges. Oh, and playing a back-rower with zero lateral movement in the centres beside them just compounds the stupidity.
