He's already signed with the Sharks, lol. I wouldn't really have him at the Broncos anyway. At his best, he's probably the most skillful forward in the NRL, but he doesn't seem to be at his best too often.

The signing of Perrett is interesting as reports suggested he would make way for Will Hopoate.

Also saw that the Eels officially signed Gutherson and Matt Woods.

Both of whom had large raps coming up through the grades but as they got closer to first grade, were beginning to look decidedly mediocre. Gutherson was completely upstaged by Tommy Turbo, while Woods wasn't anything too special in the NYC despite being a leader coming up through the grades and being one of the first chosen for the Schoolboys.

I read a rumour that Woods is going to Parra, under the proviso the Tigers are to sign Josh Aloai. If that's the case, that's a decent deal for the Tigers. Somebody who's ready for first grade and could provide the Tigers with some depth in the backrow.

I wonder what the end game is for Gutherson? I know the Sea Eagles were trying to fashion him into a centre, but that was just to find room for him. He's naturally been a fullback and given Gordon would only be a stop-gap measure, I wonder if that's their plan? Or whether they'll go with Bevan French who was one of their shining lights in an otherwise mediocre NYC campaign?

Looks like Ashley Taylor has had to go in for surgery again after his previous surgery on he's finger fractures, not the kind of start to the pre-season you wanted.

Interesting, it's hilarious. Some people's wet dreams about Taylor are about to get mugged by reality. If he really was the next Johns (as some people on here seem to think as they wanted us to rejig the whole team to get him in) do you really think Benny would have let him walk out the door unchallenged?

To be honest it's far too early to suggest he's another Corey Norman, however it does raise my concerns I have for the bloke rushing off to another club to get a first grade spot, especially at a club like the Titan's that isn't exactly the most stable environment to be, still it's likely he will get more game time at the Titan's given Tyrone Roberts and Kane Elgey aren't exactly in the Milford or Hunt class. Have to wait and see on this.

If it's really that bad NITV have indigenous games on most nights at 7.30 . As long as you don't mind watching games that are played predominantly in each others' 20m zone .
