He's a decent prop with a fair bit of potential if he can get some consistency in his game. He's solid for St Helens without being standout. I think he will either prove to be an absolutle bargain or he will flop pretty badly. Dont see him being just a solid prop here like he is in England.

@Wolfie seeing as your English. Your mission - should you accept it, is to find us a better than average half and hooker that is currently playing in the ESL and is willing to come over and play for us.

Tbh, the better ones over there who I think would make it in the NRL are either too old now or we couldn't afford them. Clarke and Roby for hooker, Lomax in the halves.

The one player I'd push the boat out for as I said the other day is Will Pryce for fullback ( although I think he will move to 6 eventually ). If he was Australian the hype about him would be through the roof. He is going to be a real superstar and I think he is gettable as well.

He is. It was a poor tackle, which he more just got totally wrong rather than him being a grubby sort of player, but it did look pretty bad. 10 games i still think was very excessive for the young fella.

From what i have seen of him, i believe he is going to be one of the best English players that they have ever produced. Early days, but he just seems to have everything you would want already from in a 1 or a 6.

Probably didnt help him he got pinged for a lifting tackle in the lower grades from what i read.

The outcome and look of the tackle did look severe, but I’m struggling to see an actual lifting action. In that he does not put his hands between his legs and lift and drive him.
it was sheer upper body strength that unbalanced the player. A bad look but no malice at all.

Munster on 1.2m next year, Storm are offering him a 3 year extension after that for 750k a year. Dolphins are offering 3m/3 years.

So if he stays he's sacrificing 750k.

Storm could release him early if the Dolphins are offering him 1m as it gives them 1m extra next year to sign more players from whoever wins the wooden spoon.
