Courier mail reporting that Ponga is set to reject the Dolphins and sign a new long term deal with the Knights, to be announced as early as this week

I'm not ready to black list Walsh just yet ... but right now i don't think he is the right signing given our issues over the last few years
p.s. i'm pretty sure we all know who i want to see at the back for us ... and that would be Mr Farnworth.

I'd actually be happy with that. Ponga for as good as he is, picks up a hell of a lot of injuries and i dont think would contribute enough to warrant his salary.

Ponga is worth about 650k. He's fairly lazy, only turns up a few games a year, and is made of glass. Knights are idiots to be making him the highest paid player in the game.
Maybe I don't watch enough Knights games but how often is he the difference between a win and a loss? I daresay not often.
Hugely overrated , I'd actually say comfortably the most overrated in the game with Yeo second.

To a point i agree. While i dont think as a player he is overrated, i think his contribution is vastly overrated. He just doesnt do enough often enough to be paid in that bracket.
