NRL Player Movements & Rumours

According to Fox, Munster is on 1.2m next year and Melbourne are offering him 800k moving forward.

Dolphins will be offering 1m. Interesting to see if be knocks back 600k+ more sponsorship opportunities for the love of Melbourne

I think 800k is his amount. He’s not a one million a year player. He’s a high quality rep player so 800 I think is fair. He’s had issues and never been a 25 great games a year player.

Doubt Munster or Anasta would care too much for this idea.

Absolute amateur hour. I wonder if this is what got Coates down there.
It's a private company too, so shares don't have to be disclosed, and the value of shares are completely arbitrary. Could be real world value of 10k a share, oh we'll sell it for 1k, it's just a startup.

Salary cap rort. No wonder Storm expect all 3 of their stars to re-sign by next week

I hope the other clubs kick up a stink about this (Roosters won't of course because they do this stuff all the time) because this is the definition of an admin sponsored rort.

It's farcical. The salary cap just needs to go. It's not a level playing field when the two most successful clubs just happen to have billionaire chairmen.

And state sponsored dodgy deals.

and with that the Storm have again shown their true colours

They do but this one is on the NRL, how anyone with any kind of thought ability can think this is ok and not a massive red flag, well quite frankly, it just highlights how corrupt they are.

I'm sure grant will re-sign for less money for love of all things purple and green next week.

Certainly puts Paps' smell of an oily rag contract into perspective too.

Hahaha only imagine if this was the Broncos. There’d be 85 articles every minute, NRL 360 would be blowing up as would every Facebook article.
It’s quite amazing what other teams seem to be able to get away with.
Nothing to see here, move along.

It will be interesting to see how Grant goes this year actually. He is a bit like Ponga. Great player, but they dont really play enough games to warrant their Salary ( future rumoured salary for Grant i should say ).

This is the funniest league related thing I’ve read since the roosters made the recent salary cap auditor a life member.

Up next; Cronulla players invest in Stephen Dank’s new smoothie line.
