Would you pay Foran the same as Reynolds? He’s been ok but I think his form is overstated. He has had an elite half running the show. I suppose the Titans are in a pickle in the halves though. If Reynolds body can last his contract then we struck gold.

Foran to Titans means the Brimson to five-eighth experiment has been shelved. With Brimson returning to fullback, where does that leave Jayden Campbell? Would he be worth pursuing given Walsh will likely not be obtainable? Would a spine of Campbell, TMM, Reynolds, and Paix/anyone other than Turpin be strong enough?

I'd be going after Brimson. If the Titans have their wagons hitched to Campbell, I'd prefer Brimson anyway.

Oh true. I didn't think Brimson was even an option. I thought he was locked up long term. He is the Titans version of Munster.

He is locked up long term but I like to dream. I also don't really rate Campbell that much. He might end up a superstar but there is just something about him that worries me.

Haha fair enough. Campbell seems a little bit ike a poor man's Walsh. I think he needs to put on some more size though. Just throwing up options. There's really not much out there unfortunately.

I'd Redcliffe chase either Campbell or Brimson. The more people Redcliffe get the more likely it is we keep Herbie.

Campbell is horrible from what I've seen. If we had him on our roster rn I wouldn't pick him over TMM or even Niu.

The $750k is likely total value of the contract i.e. $375k per year... it's the new way media like to describe contracts to make them appear larger than they actually are.

They did the same with Flegler which is why BHQ keep blowing up about his contract, but he's actually on half of what was reported.

Brimson would be the target... Campbell won't want to leave GC because of his father. However, I think Brimson loves the titans and wants to stay.

Can recall his quotes when he signed the 4yr extension (or was it 5yr??) and it was very positive towards GC... I think he also took unders to stay there... so I can't see him being keen to move, and if he did move would his heart actually be in it.

Foran going to the Titans does make me wonder if Redcliffe would look at Mitchell Pearce. Every other Queensland team has a veteran half in their spine.

We have Reynolds and the Cowboys have Townsend. And it wouldn't be the first time Bennett brought a player back from the northern hemisphere if they went that way.
