I agree. Burton can just play centre. If they need a decent sized kick he can put up a bomb every couple of sets and will be just as effective. I reckon he's pretty over rated as a half

Taaffe played in the halves before? maybe him 6 burton center and crichton fullback?

The Bulldogs are never going to move Burton to center as much as they probably should

Burton is only really an effective half if the opposition fullback has a hard time catching the ball.

All of this is funny though because I don't see C.Sandwich playing regular first grade in the 6 jersey.
😂😂😂 it’s settled and now official @Sproj
Mr “I’ll never play for the greatest team ever” whatever is his fkn name is, shall hence forth be known as C.Sandwich.
Case closed.

If I were them, this would be the backline I'd run out:
1. Taaffe
2. Skelton
3. Kiraz
4. Crichton
5. Addo-Carr
6. Burton
7. Sexton

I actually don't know about Burton, I'm inclined to play him at centre because his defense is the worst in the league and doesn't offer enough in attack to compensate.
Don’t forget they’re also getting the drug cheat bloke… Xerri.
He’s changed his ways, blah blah blah…
Remember that time you pissed hot & got popped for PEDs Bronson?! We do.

Clifford has signed on with the Cowboys for 2024.

Wasn't this already announced like a month ago?

Announced on the Cowboys social media pages 4 hours ago.

There were reports a month ago linking him to Cowboys and Tigers.

Lachlan Lam has re-signed with Leigh until end of 2025 - perfect timing for likely retirement of Reynolds.

Wade Graham has announced he will retire at the end of the season

Yeah it isn't surprising but he has done well throughout his career. He has clearly been working his way into the media the last couple of seasons, so yep, the time is right. I really hope we lock up Piakura and Riki soon though, they will be in demand as well. This is why we have to put Haas on the backburner now. He doesn't want to sign on, so be it, move on to those that want to.

I've always like Wade Graham. He just seems like a no nonsense type player. Just gives his all each time he plays. It's a shame he won't make the 300 game club.

Too many concussions .
He sat out for a while last season .

Wests Tigers massive signing, Aidan Sezer!

Tevita Pangai Junior has reportedly dropped a bombshell on the Canterbury Bulldogs, deciding to retire from the NRL to take up a full-time career in boxing.

Pangai Junior, who was a surprise debutant for the New South Wales Blues this year in the State of Origin series before being cut after a single appearance, has struggled to hit anything near his potential during his time at the Bulldogs.

The 27-year-old has played 34 games with the Bulldogs since making the switch ahead of the 2022 season. That came after a short six-game stint at the back-end of 2021 with the Penrith Panthers, and prior to that, 96 games with the Brisbane Broncos between 2016 and 2021.

The barnstorming prop, while inconsistent, at his best has always shown the potential to turn into one of the best forwards in the game.

Evidently, he now won't get to realise that with News Corp reporting he will head to boxing full time from the end of this season.

It's understood Pangai Junior will finish the 2023 season with the struggling Bulldogs before fullfilling the decision to leave the sport.

Haha rightio then
