Apparently Stefano Utoikamanu has a clause in his contract that allows him to quit the club based on their performances.

Why they would allow that kind of clause to be included is baffling, but if I were him I would be activating it.

He can't activate it yet.

Tigers need to miss the finals this season and next season before the clause can be activated.

Seems overpriced, I think he's pretty dime a dozen but looks good in an excellent team but I guess 950 is probably 700k in prior cap so seems about fair.

I tell you who I reckon one of the biggest problems at the Dogs is - Burton. He can’t defend, like at all. He seems to go alright at centre, well he did for Penrith but at the Dogs, he is an absolute turnstile. Unless they find a second rower who can defend for two players, he can’t play 6. He makes Lockyer look like Toni’s Carroll he is that bad.

Oooft… I never really paid that much attention, coz you know, **** the Dogs. However if this is indeed the case then they have massive problems. You know, even more than they already have (they’re second last)

You’re right, he is in the right team, but he also works his ass off and does the 1%-ers.
Is that a fair offer for a really good spine player? Yes.

If you’re ever in doubt about the value of a very good 1,6,7 or 9… ask yourself…
Are they more valuable on that wage (whatever the figure is) than a David Fifita on 900K? If the answer is yes, it’s a good signing.

Dylan Edwards on $900K

true. but he plays half the season given how fragile Fatrell is. he could have gone to quite a few clubs for a lot more than 250k. he could probably even stay at Souths for more than 250k.

Walsh came to us on $350k. That’s one of the craziest contracts I’ve heard of
