NRL Players and family members in hot water

I sometimes take an antihistamine or 2 if I’m drinking red wine. I use phenergen, I have never lost time/blacked out while mixing it with alcohol.

My sister could take barely half a tablet and be knocked out for hours, let alone mixing it with booze

Thats a hell of a cover up considering it was 2 years ago

Whats the offense? Club employee slept with a footy player, husband was upset.
I see nothing the Cows would be worried about here.

The doctor gave the guy a couple of valium, as he was obviously worked up, and im not exactly sure what the integrity unit can do about a personal matter such as infidelity.

Anyone care to explain what the Cows did wrong?

So.... the allegation about the drug sample may have some relevance, but I don't see a player and staff member having an affair as requiring the NRL or Integrity Unit to step in. As much as i don't condone it of course.

It was Parr that gave him the pills along with a false exam + supply of benzos from the Doc.

The cheating was irrelevant (in legal terms) until Parr got involved as it’s two employees

Gotcha, Parr might be in a world of shit then, with more than just the NRL at that.

The wife and the footballer should be fine though.

Valium is not a particularly hard or uncommon drug. It gets prescribed for all sorts of things and situations. Storm in a teacup.

when it’s not prescribed to you or falsely prescribed it’s an offence

Most doctors wont prescribe valium and other benzo's these days, not to new patients in any case, as they are brutally addictive and have a really bad withdrawal phase after long term use.

Jordan Peterson spent 6 months in a specialist Moscow hospital because of extensive neurological damage from benzo withdrawals.
Pretty nasty shit if you make a habit out of it.

Ive used it before seeing the dentist to calm the nerves, worked a treat thats for sure.

It’s interesting that Weidler, in his gossip column about 18 months ago, wrote a piece about a very prominent ex-Cowboy broadly talking about the same thing (minus the drugs) and being at pains to say it wasn’t true but that the husband was spreading lies.
