NRL Players and family members in hot water

Do we need unanimous or majority?
My understanding is unanimous however a majority verdict can be accepted if a unanimous verdict cannot be reached after 8 hours of deliberation, so essentially a majority verdict at this point would do it. Mind you in NSW a majority verdict is 11 of the 12 jurors.

You are on the money.

Weak sentence. He won’t do all of that time.

There have been some truly sad falls from grace in this last decade, but this one is the worst.
Hayne had the world at his feet and has flushed it down the toilet.

He is still denying it. He’ll do all of it if he doesn’t change his tune.
If he keeps pleading his innocence he'll end up on that SAS show in 6-7 years when he gets out.

Ugly scenes outside the courtroom apparently with a Hayne supporter spitting at the victim. One would hope not an NRL affiliated supporter.
